Seattle LitCrawl

October 19 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Fireside Room

We welcome Seattle LitCrawl for a very special event in the Fireside Room. Talented writers from all over the Pacific Northwest were given the theme of “Sorrento Curiosities” and tasked with creating a brand new work of poetry or fiction. For more information check out the Seattle LitCrawl site.

6:00-6:45 pm, Dystopian Fiction:

Start your evening off with a dive into Dystopia. Enjoy readings by authors whose diverse works find a home under dystopian fiction’s wide net. Authors include: Apple Plotnick Jannotta and Johanna Stoberock

8:00-8:45 pm, Ghosts of Seattle Past:

Ghosts of Seattle Past is an anthology and atlas, a series of arts installations, an online map, and an ongoing community altar on which to celebrate and mourn the lost Seattle places that made us who we are. Amidst the crawl across Capitol Hill, three anthology contributors will mourn bygone venues: Graham Isaac, The Paradox Theater; Ma’Chell Duma (LaVassar), Foxxxes Cabaret; and Adrian Ryan, The Elite Tavern. Emceed by Chin Music Press editor Cali Kopczick.

Lit Crawl Seattle is a series of uncommon literary events — readings, performances, panel discussions, and beyond — that  take place in pubs, museums, cafes, libraries, and a host of other spaces throughout the Capitol Hill and First Hill neighborhoods in Seattle
