“Northwest Haunted Hotspots” – Presented by Neil McNeill

Offered as part of our “Sorrento Curiosities” event series, join us on October 11 in the Fireside Room as paranormal expert and educator Neil McNeil presents ‘Northwest Haunted Hotspots’. The Pacific Northwest is home to a number of historic sites – many of them with their own ghostly tales to tell.  Learn the Secrets of the infamous cemeteries, mansions, theaters, and even towns that make the Puget Sound a Destination for ghost enthusiasts around the world. This event is free and open to the public. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. 

Biography

Neil McNeill has worked in the fields of parapsychology and paranormal education since 1993. He has served as a parapsychology consultant for television, film, and print media, and is regularly asked to speak at ghost conferences, paranormal events, and for literary and other professional organizations. Neil is a member of the Rhine Research Center, the Parapsychological Association, and the Seattle Consciousness Education & Research Society. His work has appeared on “Evening Magazine,” KOMO-4 News, and The Seattle Times, among others.

Since 2008, Neil has taught college-level courses about the science and history of parapsychology and paranormal investigation, which are offered year-round in the Seattle area and have been featured among Seattle Met’s list of “most sought-after” adult education classes. Neil produced “Dark & Stormy Nights: Parapsychology for Ghost Hunters” an educational DVD based on his popular classes in 2012. He recently chaired a panel on parapsychology and education with Loyd
Auerbach at the annual convention of the international Parapsychological Association.
